Brazil is one of the countries with the lowest levels of CO₂ emissions per ton of cement in the world. This prominent position is a recognition of the industry's effort to mitigate climate change.

Developed in collaboration with the IEA, IFC (World Bank), and WBCSD, this Roadmap presents alternatives to mitigate emissions by 35% by 2050, complying with global scenarios to limit temperature rise to 2°C.
